Viva La Video: The Surge of Video Across All Media

141 years since the invention of film, the power of video is stronger than ever. In recent years, there has been explosive growth of video in all areas of media (digital, connect TV, OOH, even print!), particularly because of omnipresent smart devices and apps like Snapchat.
We wanted to know what separates the great from the good. Is it smart videography? A well-written script? Perfect editing? Or Is it smart use of data insights across all media?

We’ve invited a diverse group of panelists of various disciplines and backgrounds to dive into the art and science of amazing video advertising and debate how advertisers can effectively cut through the noise of video content so their brand’s message is heard loud and clear.

PANELIST:  Laurie Evans The Richards Group
Media Group Head – Audio/Video

Laurie joined The Richards Group in 1997 after working for SpotPlus on Mrs Baird’s Bread and Pizza Hut from 1994-1997. Previously, she worked for Chiat\Day on Nissan and MTV and for Tracy-Locke on Pepsi and Taco Bell 1987-1994. She graduated from Texas Tech University in 1987. Laurie’s tenure with The Richards Group has only bolstered her experience as a broadcast negotiator. In the last few years, she was made Group Head for streaming Audio/Video and has been negotiating streaming audio and video for The Richards Group clients.

Lokal Media House: Chief Creative Officer

Max Fuerst is the Chief Creative Officer at Lokal Media House. With a background in motorsports, Max has traveled the world creating content for various companies and brands. He enjoys being involved in all aspects of the creative process when taking on a new project. Whether it’s creating concepts or manning a camera, he’s got you covered.

Dieste: Associate Media Director

A native of Mexico City with 14 years of media experience, Diego Lastra has collaborated on General Market and Hispanic campaigns for small and big clients in Texas and throughout the U.S., developing and executing plans across all types of media. He is passionate about multicultural market and the opportunities it presents to savvy marketers as it consistently evolves.

Danny Braught is the CEO & Founder of Lokal Media House. Danny took his experience of running a print and online media outlet + a diverse background as an entrepreneur to help others grow their businesses through engaging content.
