Brand Creative, Richards/Lerma

Somehow, spending 5 years as a Sergeant with the United States Marine Corps has helped Jorge ‘Rosie’ Rosales develop into a creative force at Richards/Lerma.

Since 2012, Rosie has been an art director on The Home Depot, Jeep, RAM, MetroPCS and Dr Pepper Snapple Group. His love for advertising combined with that militaristic work ethic is evidenced in the fact that he’s never done with a project until he’s proud of the end product. He’s known to be a perfectionist who obsesses over the details. But just ask anyone, and they’ll tell you “He stresses because he cares.”

It’s this very mindset that drove Jorge’s involvement with AAF. After 5 years with Richards/Lerma, he’s come to love this industry that gives him so much, and it’s time to return the favor, spread the word and strengthen the advertising landscape in Dallas.

Diverse perspectives bring untold value to advertisers. As Diversity Co-Chair, along with Farhan Rehmani, Rosie intends to apply his signature methodical precision and creative problem-solving to tackle the question of inclusion in our industry, and bring tangible tools and solutions to the table.

Rosie is a Dallas native born and raised, tried and true. He has a bachelor’s degree in Advertising Design from The Art Institute. In his spare time, he tends to his bonsai, wrestles his wrinkly bulldog, and counts down the days until The State Fair of Texas opens, where he gladly judges the creative arts and food contests every year.
