DALLAS – Johnson & Sekin took best of show honors for its work for Local Hive Honey in the AAF Dallas American Advertising Awards presentation March 7. This annual awards presentation was attended by over 550 members representing every segment of the Dallas-area advertising industry. The Student Best of Show was awarded to Noel Ramos at The University of Texas at Arlington. Of the nearly 680 entries received by the AAF Dallas, 41 gold ADDY Awards, 94 silver ADDY Awards, and 83 Bronze Awards were presented. Entries were judged by a 4-judge panel for their creativity, originality and strategy. AAF Dallas Award Winners to be Honored March 7,2019

DALLAS – The Dallas market’s best in advertising will be honored Thursday, March 7 at The Bomb Factory at the 57th Annual AAF Dallas American Advertising Awards Gala. 

Invitations are out for the black-tie dinner gala, which recognizes and showcase the area’s outstanding advertising creative work for the previous year. The event begins at 6:30 pm with cocktails followed by dinner and presentation of awards. The 2019 competition was a record breaking year for AAF Dallas with the largest amount of entries in recorded history. Judges Kevin Fullerton, Candace Queen, David Alvarez, and Stacy Milrany chose winners from 687 online, broadcast and print entries from agencies, businesses and individuals doing business in the Dallas market as well as college students. 

The Dallas competition is sponsored by the AAF Dallas, a member association comprised of advertising and media professionals. Proceeds from the American Advertising Awards help support the AAF Dallas’s educational programs, public service projects and proactive government relations efforts.

AAF Dallas Announces Richards/Lerma as Its 2019 ADDYs Creative Partner

AAF Dallas is officially kicking off ADDY season with an exciting announcement about this year’s theme and our creative partner, Richards/Lerma.Last year, Richards/Lerma brought home multiple ADDYs and won 2018. Best in Show for their Encanto Pops “Eclipse Pop” campaign that generated a 600% increase in sales on that day for their client.

We are thrilled to collaborate with them on this year’s ADDY theme, Locally Grown, celebrating Dallas’ Locally Grown Creative and our best-in-class Advertising talent.  The 2019 Gala will be held on March 7 at The Bomb Factory. We look forward to another year of amazing creative grown right here in Dallas.
