It’s been a year.

Through it all, our resilient ad peeps have made it work, through remote shoots and endless zoom meetings, socially-distanced concepting sessions and beyond. To reward those who’ve figured out a way, no matter what, and in true advertising fashion, we’ve spared no expense to overthink ways in which we can deliver the absolute #SafestADDYSEver.

The ADDY trophies have begun their quarantine in preparation for awards season. They will be undergoing rigorous sanitizing protocols and temperature checks, and will be kept at a safe distance away from each other. All to make sure they make it safe and sound to your deserving hands.⠀ ⠀

Now more than ever, it is important to recognize individuals within our profession who make us a greater version of ourselves and the industry a better place to work. AAF Dallas is excited to present the 2021 Suits Awards, selecting and honoring ambassadors of creative work who, in the past, have gone unrecognized during the Creative Awards Season. They put in the work behind the great work in the advertising industry. These unsung heroes and heroines have worked diligently behind the creative scenes. We think it's time we recognize those who support great creative.

32 Under 32 Nominations are Open!


Nominate a standout coworker, boss, or colleague who deserves to be recognized! Our 4th annual 32 Under 32 event will honor the top 32 advertising professionals under the age of 32 in the DFW area as nominated and voted by their peers.

This year, due to COVID-19, our in person event/celebrations will be postponed to the spring of 2021. However, we will still be doing nominations and announcements of winners to keep the 32 Under 32 class of 2020 in the year 2020.

21 Day Racial Equity Challenge Launching in January 2020 has brought to light the injustices our fellow Americans endure every day just to survive in our society. We at AAF Dallas have been introspective on how we can play our part in moving forward as an industry and as a society. In June, many people promised to do the work they needed to do make our world more inclusive place.

If not, we'd like to invite you to join us for our 21 Day Racial Equity Challenge. In January (and each month of 2021), we will host a 21-Day Racial Equity Challenge to help our members begin to do Racial Equity work that digs beyond the surface. This is an academic- and discussion- based experience in which our participants will spend 21 days learning and discussing systemic racism in our country and our industry with a small group of peers.

This is completely free and exclusive to our AAF Dallas and Ad 2 Dallas members. We have an opportunity in front of us to be a part of change and we encourage our Members to be brave, take risks, get uncomfortable, and to take this actionable step with us today.

This is a call for Mentors!

As part of our annual educational efforts at AAF this  year, we are working with Dallas College in support of  their Dallas County Promise Career Mentoring Program. 
Dallas College needs us to help their students on their path to their chosen careers. And mentorship can provide guidance to ensure students stay on their journey. Your knowledge and experience in marketing and advertising will help guide students in their completion of their studies, and ultimately secure employment.
