Announcement: SMU Temerlin Advertising Institute is the official Presenting Sponsor of AAF Dallas Shining Stars!

We’re excited to announce our partnership with SMU’s Temerlin Advertising Institute for our inaugural Shining Stars Award luncheon on June 13!  Together, we’ll honor the top 20 women in Dallas advertising with its ground-breaking award program launched earlier this year.

The Temerlin Advertising Institute is partnering with AAF Dallas for this historic event to celebrate executives in Dallas advertising. “The Institute strongly believes in supporting, rewarding, and recognizing advertising executives and are proud to sponsor this event,”  Steve Edwards, Director of Temerlin Advertising Institute at SMU. “We are involved with industry organizations like AAF Dallas to help support future colleagues. We’re happy to help the AAF  build industry in our market in any way we can.”

Daina Middleton

Daina Middleton is an author, and expert in marketing, and currently a leadership coach.  Her previous roles include head of business marketing at Twitter; CEO of the global performance marketing company Performics; SVP of analytics, social media and innovation at Moxie Interactive; and Hewlett-Packard where she spent 16 years in marketing. Her first book titled Marketing in the Participation Age (2012 Wiley) is about a marketing designed to inspire participation. Middleton’s most recent book, Grace Meets Grit: How to Bring Out The Remarkable, Courageous Leader Within (Bibliomotion, 2016), is designed to drive actionable behavioral change for women and men in the workplace. Middleton serves as a director on the boards of Marin Software and Healthwise. Her work has been published in Forbes, Fortune, Fast Company, The Huffington PostAd Week, and she has appeared on CNBC. Middleton enjoys fly-fishing, cross-country skiing, and horseback riding. She lives near Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
